"I was born in Santa Barbara, California. My initiation into the world of childbirth support began several years ago when I began participating in the childbirth experiences of close friends and family. This immersion ignited a deep-seated passion for contributing to the extraordinary process of welcoming new life into the world. As a mother of three children, each with their own unique birth story, I collected valuable insights.

Upon introspection of my personal journey as a patient, I came to the realization that I could have taken a more active role in the decision-making process during labor and delivery. At that time, I entrusted my healthcare decisions to medical professionals, deferentially accepting their judgments. In hindsight, I am confident that a more comprehensive understanding would have led me to make different choices.

I consider myself extraordinarily fortunate to have received unwavering support from my family and friends, both during and after childbirth. This support has profoundly influenced my commitment to providing families with an exceptional standard of care and assistance. In my role, I approach each family as a unique entity, offering respect for their diverse choices.

Recognizing the critical need for postpartum support, I decided to transition into the role of a postpartum doula. My innate affinity for nurturing, combined with being recognized as a 'baby whisperer,' made this transition a natural and organic progression in my journey. Given my natural inclination as a 'night owl,' taking night shifts became second nature.

In 2010, I embarked on my formal education as a Doula. I have obtained certification as a Birth and Postpartum Doula and am a Licensed Massage Therapist and Reiki Master. I have also undertaken courses in Sleep Training and Breastfeeding Education. My deepest passion remains rooted in extending a compassionate hand to those in need and guiding families along their unique journeys."
